Privacy Policy
Summary
We do not sell personal data. The website keeps aggregate statistics, and the apps only talk to the
internet for features you can see and disable.
Information the website collects
Analytics. If analytics is enabled, we measure page views, download clicks, approximate country
and referring source in aggregate. Cookies used for advertising and analytics are only set after you
accept them in the consent banner.
Server logs. Our web server records IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp for
security and abuse prevention. Logs are rotated within 30 days.
Download counters. Each download increments a counter. The IP address associated with a download
is stored only as a truncated one-way hash to filter duplicates, and cannot be reversed.
Information the apps collect
The apps do not include an analytics SDK and do not create user accounts. Some features make network
requests to work, and each one is documented on its product page:
- Weather widgets request forecast data from a public weather API using an approximate location
- The voice assistant sends only the request you deliberately speak, after the wake word or hotkey
- Optional update checks fetch a small version file
All of these can be disabled in each app's settings.
Advertising
We advertise on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Those platforms may set cookies to measure
whether an ad led to a download. This happens only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any
time by clearing cookies and declining the banner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal
data we hold, and to object to processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our software is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date shown on this page.
